NGUNGURU BOWLING CLUB
The Ngunguru Bowling Club 'The Friendly Club' of the north is a fun welcoming and relaxed catering for beginners through to experienced bowlers. It has one of the best artificial greens in Northland and visitors from outside clubs tell us that our grounds gardens and buildings are as good as any club around.
Tournaments are held throughout the year and there is also the chance to play in twilight bowls with music playing and a final night of a free BBQ and maybe a decent prize. In addition members can enter into tournaments held in other Northland clubs and triples teams regularly travel to clubs such as Hikurangi, Kensington, Maungatapere, Onerahi or further afield to Waipu or One Tree Point.
NEW MEMBERS
New members are always made to feel welcome at Ngunguru. "Roll-Ups" are held every Thursday and Saturday starting 8:45am, December through to February.
From March until end of November,
start time for "Roll-ups" is 12:45pm.
At the "Roll-Ups" you will be teamed up with experienced players which means you will receive plenty of support and you won't even need your own bowls! Play ends with afternoon tea and prize-giving with the winning teams taking home - YES!! - a whole bar of chocolate! The only potential downside is that it costs $6 for visitors (incl. afternoon tea). For club members the cost is $4.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions are $85 per year, or $60 per year for limited membership (allowing play in roll-ups and practise whenever you like, but not able to enter tournaments).
